Sunday, October 22nd – 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm – Crop Walk for Hunger – Join us and walk for a good cause. Crop Walk for Hunger is sponsored locally by United Vincent Methodist Church and CWSglobal.org. The 1-hour walk supports food pantries and programs in Nutley and around the world. Walkers commit to completing the walk (rain or shine) and collect donations from sponsors before or after they walk. NFSB gratefully acknowledges the proceeds that directly benefited our Food Pantry from last year’s Crop Walk. We look forward to participating in this year’s Crop Walk on Oct 22nd. Friday, October 20, 27 – 10:00 am – Two-Year-Old Story Time – Must Be Nutley Resident. Two-year-old classes are for children 2 years of age. Two-year-old children and their caregivers enjoy old and new picture books, create arts and crafts, and meet other children from the Nutley area. Registration is required.
Saturday, October 21st – 2:00 pm – Sciencetellers – Learn about the science of fire & ice by telling a tale of Dragons & Dreams using experiments of flash paper, exploding bottles, “cool” dry ice and much more. Science fun for all ages. No registration required.
Tuesday, October 24th – 9:30 am & 10:45 am – Babygarten – Babygarten classes are for children ages birth through 23 months. Babies and their caregivers enjoy great books, nursery rhymes, playtime, and meet other babies from the Nutley area. Registration is required. Must Be Nutley Resident.

Saturday, October 28th at 2:00 pm – Larry Hunt, The Piano Man – Enjoy a concert by Piano Man Larry Hunt at the Nutley Public Library on Saturday, October 28th at 2:00 p.m. This talented performer will entertain you with original songs and unique interpretations of popular jazz, blues and rock songs, and will include some classical piano music as well. He will be accompanied by Matt Teitelman on drums. Larry graduated from Nutley High School and loves returning to perform here and the metropolitan area at nightclubs, theatres and restaurants. The concert is sponsored by The Friends of the Nutley Public Library.

Nutley Hall Of Fame Honorees – Induction Ceremony:
Sunday, November 19th – 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm – The Nutley Hall of Fame Committee has announced that there will be eight persons inducted in 2017, 7 living and one deceased. The initial inductions was in 2003 and on a bicentennial basis thereafter, this being the eighth occasion. This year’s honorees are: Henry Bunner, Leonardo Capalbo, Phil Cuzzi, Rena DeAngelo, David Difrancesco, Tom Evans, David Gilbert and Adam LaReau. The $40.00 admission price includes champagne, soft drinks, beer and wine, a selection of gourmet finger foods by Tarik Huggins, desserts and coffee.
