The medical profession generally accepts the benefits of gentle, therapeutic massage. Professional touch therapy can reduce many of the discomforts associated with cancer and its treatments by easing muscle tension and aiding the body in eliminating toxins. In addition, massage offers the mind, body and spirit a reprieve and renewed energy to tolerate medical procedures.

Essential Bodywork is a non-profit 501c(3) organization. All people living with cancer in NNJ are eligible for the Compassion In Action program. A physician's prescription is mandatory.
