Friday, June 22nd – 8:00 pm

Saturday, June 23rd – 2:00 pm & 8:00 pm
Dinner with Friends will open on June 8th, at 8pm, at Nutley Little Theatre. The comedy was written by Donald Margulies and was the winner of the 2000 Pulitzer Prize for drama. The play is directed by Cynthia S. Ross of Newark. The opening night is a benefit performance for Oasis. Dinner with Friends explores the relationship of Gabe and Karen, who believe they are living in domestic bliss. They are disabused of that illusion one evening when one of their best friends, Beth, reveals that her husband is leaving her for “some stewardess.” This comes as a blow to Gabe and Karen, and the shock causes them to take a long, hard look at their own marriage. The actors appearing in this comedy/drama are Lisa Barnett of South Orange as Beth, Amy Boardman of Glen Rock as Karen, Cris Colicchio of Livingston as Gabe, and Michael Smith-Gallo of Montclair as Tom. The production is stage managed by Kelley Blessing of North Arlington. Tickets are $18 with a $2 discount for senior citizens and students (for matinees only). Patrons can order tickets by calling SmartTix at 212-868-4444, or online through the NLT website at www.nutleylittletheatre.com (click on the “Click for Tix” icon).
