We are Amy Tingle and Maya Stein. In 2013, we co-founded Food for the Soul Train (now The Creativity Caravan) with a desire to build community through creative action, and to deliver creative experiences to people everywhere. Together, we have 15 years’ experience facilitating art and writing workshops for children and adults, and more than 30 years of experience refining our own practice as writers and artists. Our vintage caravan, a 1965 Covered Wagon named “MAUDE” (Mobile Art Unit Designed for Everyone), serves as our creative hub and home away from home (when we are not at our studio in Northern New Jersey). With a unique menu of offerings for all ages, Food for the Soul Train invites everyone to the table. At the heart of it all, we believe that good communication, honesty, and transparency – and having fun! – are the key ingredients to living well.
