Rotary Club Of Nutley – 3rd Annual Classic Car Show:
Wednesday, September 1st – 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm – Franklin Avenue, between Chestnut and Centre Streets. Classic cars, antique cars, street rods, muscle cars, custom cars, trucks and motorcycles. Free admission, rain date September 2nd. DOWNLOAD SPONSORSHIP FORM. DOWNLOAD FLYER.

Nutley Family Service Bureau – Upcoming Events:
Sunday, September 12th – 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm – The Garden Party – Mountsier-Hardie Garden, 205 Rutgers Place Nutley. Tickets $75.00. The event features food from top local restaurants, an eclectic mix of jazz, classical, and contemporary music and more. Soak in the ambiance set in New Jersey’s renown private grounds, listen to music, sip wine, sample delicious foods, and experience a thoroughly delightful event. Sponsorships available. Proceeds enable NFSB to carry out its mission to strengthen the emotional and social well-being of individuals and families through affordable mental health counseling and social service programs. Gail’s Angels – 13th Annual Golf Classic:
Monday, September 13th – 7:00 am – Hendricks Field Golf Course. Registrations is at 7:00 am and Scramble Golf begins at 8:00 am. Lunch and Open Bar to follow at Nanina’s in the Park. Saturday, July 31st – Teen Sewing Workshops – Pick-up a sewing supply kit at the library and work a special project following a how-to video. For all skill levels: beginners to experts! For teens entering grades 6-12 in Fall 2021. Sign up at teenservices.nutleypubliclibrary.org.
Saturday, July 31st to Saturday, August 14th – Collection to Help Local Animals – Donations of wet cat and kitten food, dry kitten food, cat litter, clean beach towels and new cat and dog toys will be collected to help animals at the Bloomfield Animal Shelter, and help CPAW-NJ, who trap, neuter, vaccinate and release homeless cats. Look for the collection bins in the library lobby. Thank you for your generosity.
Saturday, July 31st – 11:00 am to 4:00 pm – Summer Take and Make Saturdays – Pick-up a craft project you can do at home! While supplies last. One craft kit per child. For all ages. Wednesday, August 25th – 7:00 pm – Decoding the Mysteries of Cats – Feline Behaviorist, Stephen Quandt, most recently the Feline Behavior Coordinator for the Animal Care Centers of NYC (nycacc.org) and of the ASPCA.org has created a sixty minute (including Q&A), feline behavior webinar for the public that explains cat behavior from the perspective of the evolutionary and adaptive forces that help shape their lives. Thursday, August 26th – 7:00 pm – Film Discussion – Adults join us for a discussion of the Swedish film, The Hundred-Year-Old Man who Climbed out the Window and Disappeared. This film can be viewed through the streaming video platform Kanopy which is accessible with your Nutley Public Library card number.
