JIM McGUIRE, PRESIDENT
Jim McGuire is the President of the Nutley Chamber of Commerce. He is a lifelong resident of Nutley and a Graduate of Nutley High School. Jim owns Essex Cigar in Belleville, NJ, is a realtor with Coldwell Banker Franklin Realty of Nutley and is a sales associate with Merchant Management of Nutley.
HELEN CARROLL, TREASURER
A resident of Nutley since 2000, Helen moved to Nutley for its close proximity to her job at a global financial services firm, where she was the Client Reporting manager, responsible for 3.5 million monthly client statements, average of 1.5 million monthly trade confirmations, compliance monitoring data feed and document archive.
ANDREW GARRUTO, IMMEDIATE PAST PRESIDENT
Andrew Garruto is a lifelong Nutley resident. He graduated Nutley High School in 1982, opened his law practice here in 1997, and renovated his office in 2007 where he maintains his practice with partner Joseph Calabria. Andy is an active member and officer of the Nutley Chamber, which he believes is one of the many strengths in the Nutley community.
NICHOLAS M. LICAMELI, MEMBER-AT-ARGE
Dr. Licameli believes in improving quality of life and inspiring healthy living by helping patients, athletes, and clinicians rise above health misinformation. He was born and raised in Nutley and graduated from Nutley High School in 2008. Dr. Licameli graduated summa cum laude from Ramapo College of New Jersey with his bachelor’s degree in biology.
JOE GRAZIANO, MEMBER-AT-LARGE
Joe work at Proponent Federal Credit Union as Vice President, Continuous Improvement. Prior to coming to Proponent, Joe was President of Professional Development, Inc., a Management Consulting and Training firm. He was also a Dale Carnegie Course Instructor. His volunteer activities include the Wayne Rotary Club, President of Wayne Township’s Wayne Day Festival.
JASON VANBLARCOM, MEMBER-AT-LARGE
A member of Nutley’s amazing community since 2015, Jason and his family immediately fell in love with the town, its sense of community, and all that the great businesses and shops have to offer. As an Aflac Insurance representative, Jason helps ensure people are safeguarded from unexpected injury, cancer, and other medical expenses.
JOYCE FRAZZA, MEMBER-AT-LARGE
Joyce Frazza came to Nutley in 1979. She graduated from Nutley High School in 1981 and raised her 2 daughters here in town. Joyce joined the Nutley Chamber of Commerce in 2010 and in 2013 joined the Board of Directors as co-chairperson for memberships. She has been reaching out to new and old businesses and promotes the benefits of being a Nutley Chamber of Commerce member.
LUTHER ENGLER, MEMBER-AT-LARGE
Luther has been a resident of Nutley for over 45 years. He served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps during Viet Nam and retired from the Newark Police Department as Captain after 30 years on the job. While working for the Police Department, he attended evening classes at Rutgers University for 17 years, receiving 5 degrees including an MBA, and became a Certified Financial Planner.
PASQUALE PISANI, MEMBER-AT-LARGE
Pasquale Pisani joined the Nutley Chamber in 2010 and helped promote its membership to new and current members. In 2011, he joined the board and helped with ensuring Chamber members paying their dues in a timely manner. Since then, he joined the Ribbon Cutting committee to help promote new businesses in Nutley.
MIKE ZIPPO, MEMBER-AT-LARGE
Mike Zippo is Race Director of the Nutley Chanmber of Commerce 5K. He has been a member for 16 years. He is in business with his brother where they have three retail stores in Belleville, East Bruswick and North Plainfield. His first store opened in 1974. His goal for the race is to bring people in to our community, so they can see how wonderful a place Nutley is.
NELLA CICCINO, MEMBER-AT-LARGE
Nella Cicchino, owner of Mamma Vittoria Catering in Nutley, an event space/banquet facility offering on and off-site catering for social and corporate events. Nella has lived in Nutley since emigrating from Italy in 1971. A Nutley HS and Fairleigh Dickinson University graduate where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Administration and Management.
ERIC FRANCAIS, MEMBER-AT-LARGE
Eric Y. Francais, founder and principal of e-outbox, LLC, is a graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York City. His career spans over 20+ years in the publishing, corporate ID and web design fields. After 10 years of creative direction, Eric took the Creative Director and Marketing Manager position in the email acquisition division of infoUSA for the following 5 years.
DAN LEON, R.I.P. – October 13, 1967 – September 2, 2020
Daniel was born in Teaneck and has resided in Nutley for many years. He is a graduate of Jersey City State College (now New Jersey City University). He spent most of his years employed in the banking industry but found his true calling in working with students at Eastwick College, Nutley, as the Director of Career Services.
